A guy gets on a plane and takes the aisle seat. Next to him in the
middle and window
seats are two Arab-looking men. The guy pays them no real mind, takes
off his shoes
and settles in for the flight.
After an hour or so, the Arab in the middle seat asks if he can get by
to get a
Coke from the galley. The guy on the aisle says "Hey, since I'm on the
aisle,
why don't I just get it for you". The Arab thanks him, but while he is
gone
getting the Coke, the Arab spits the guy's left shoe.
The guy returns with the Coke and the Arab in the window seat says "I'm
sorry
to trouble you but could you get me one too?"
The guy says "Sure," and goes off to fetch the Coke. While he is gone,
the window seat Arab spits in the guy's right shoe.
The guy comes back, gives the Arab his Coke and sits down for the rest
of the flight.
When the plane lands, he slips into his shoes and realizes what
happened.
He turns to the two Arabs and says:
"Why can't we get along? When will it end? This enmity between our
nations?
The distrust between our peoples? When will it all end - This spitting
in shoes?
THIS PISSING IN COKES?"
