Touring - Tubus Logo or Cosmo owners- Could you please tell me the size of the top platform?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Tubus Logo or Cosmo owners, could you please messure and tell me the size of the top platform and the mounting bar of your rack? I've searched all over and am unable to find out just how long they are.
I'm thinking of ordering a Cosmo, but I am worried about heel strike. I like a nice long place to mount my racks. Thanks.

Whether or not you get heel strike will depend on the length of your chainstays and how you mount your panniers. The Logo allows you to mount the panniers further back because it has the lower rail so if there's any rack you won't get heel strike with it's the Logo.
Your not going to know anything until you get hols of a rack and mount your panniers on it.

Go to http://www.tubus.net/eng/produkte/hinterradtraeger/cosmo.php#
Click on the little "pencil" icon below the picture, and it will pop up a dimensioned engineering drawing of the rack.
Also, Wayne at The Touring Store (http://www.thetouringstore.com) has some stainless steel adapter brackets that will allow you to move the dropout mounting point up and back for additional heel clearance. I used a set of them on the Tubus Vega I just installed... see this thread:

Mine came with stainless allen screws, washers, and self-locking nuts. They also included some self-adhesive sheets that are used to protect the rails from pannier clamps.

Hmm, the Logo and Cosmo seem to be listed as fitting both 26 and 28 inch wheels. Perhaps they come with some extra mounting hardware.
Could anyone shed some light on this?

I think one version fits both. It fits tighter on a 700c wheel bike and with more clearance on a 26" wheel bike. I don't think there is any extra hardware. My Vega fits both too.
