Are you building it as a geared bike? does it have to be Campy?

well, "have to" is a little strong. it's a sweet frame, i want to build it up with parts for which it was designed, and don't mind taking a little while to accumulate stuff. god knows the last thing i need is another bike.

Has anyone tried taking a bike on southwest airlines? I wanna bring one down with me.

I just got off the phone with a friend thinking about flying Southwest and he said they are very lax about charging the bike fee that most airlines charge. I don't know how much research he really did, but he said if you can keep the package under 50 lbs they just consider it oversize luggage.

yeah, i've heard, but not experienced, that southwest is pretty chill about that. or if youre concerned you can ship it ahead to one of us.

I just checked their site and if I can pack it small enough it's free, if not it's only $50. Thanks though.
