meetup at home base (warehouse cafetheatrewhatever). if home base is closed, fear not, we will meet in front of home base.

you give me $5.
we will ride around looking for open bars.
you will get a card for every drink you have.
make a poker hand out of these cards.
whoever has the best hand gets the cash.
but it would behoove whoever wins the cash to use it to buy the group drinks anyway.
(if you get more than 5 cards, you get to make the best 5-card hand with what you've got)

I just put the pictures I took up. However be warned A)I'm new to the digital camera so things may get fuzzy B) I'm a little too used to trying to be artsy fartsy with my picture taking so there are precious few pictures of actual people etc C) I'm also new to Flickr so I might have messed any one of several things up. Actually this is a variation of the classic "poker run" , glad to see it on bicycles. Dyna should have done this before, because it is a motorcycles and sports car rally thing (without the drinking). I am HATING Chicago (except Stickerguy) so must poo poo on their thunder.

btw: this Chimbly and LBK pix is as good as the cheerleader and Viking pix

This 10 year old kid is riding around the main stripe in Kamala Bay Phuket on a parts bind BMX with a dual stanchion fork with bars that look like clubman bars and without brakes. Wait, he just went by with his kid brother standing on the rear pegs and dodging traffic and scooters.

this place is pack with sweds and norse (and germans). There is a bavarian beer graden and oktober fest.

btw: they renamed "Pirate Island" to "Viking Island". The tour ads even show a Viking long ship. Gosh what tourism can do!

Tink and I are working on a few projects, the one that is most exciting (and we'll finish the quickest) are new 2006 DC Pirates spokecards (now you can have DCP spokecards on both your fixed and your b bike, maybe an extra for that mixte if you went to chicago or new york). The design will be great, my only fear is after you get this kickass spokecard you'll go AWOL like a bunch of pirates did after they got the 05s...mutinous scallywags! I wanted to get them done for tonite's pillage but some stupid website got in the way, and then i kind of forgot to work on the design...anyone who shows up tonight will get a consolation prize, anyone who doesnt will be made fun of, no vacation excuses either.

let's make people EARN the spoke cards somehow... hmm...
