hey *new*guy - good hearing from ya again. might you be able to join us some day?? the beer festival isn't till june.

oh, and i was thinking perhaps the going away drinkey fest could maybe be on sat april 29? one idea suggested was everyone brings a 6 pack and we ride from park to park and sight to sight, drinking one at each stop? there were other ideas too... c'mon yall. i'm not planning this one- i have my bday to worry about! though i'd like tink to bring out his boccee ball set. that would be fun too.

and, my bday is on april 26. i'm thinking of something that involves margaritas and trivial pursuit. or perhaps those are two separate nights. last year for my bday we did a margarita tour of dc (which is totally different than the tri-state margarita rally, you'll note. i'm not about to leave the district on MY birthday!) it involved about 8 margarita stops. it was, well, tangy.

finally, i heard someone call out "hey julie" on haines point this lunch hour. i turn around and there's DC EMily pulling a pack of like 50 racer guys. Hot damn, she's fast! And she has the awesomest little red skirt to match her NCVC jersey. Rock.

woo-hoo! team pirate repped in NYC for the DUMBO race yesterday. didn't catch john at the finish, so i don't know his outcome (good, i'm sure), but spud and i tore up the course, finishing 20 and 12 of 70! we fast! spud also gets the unofficial best dressed award for that redunkulous mapei getup.

Yeah, DNF for spoke card No. 1! No casualties, just a complete lack of ability to read maps.

It was a blast anyway, I'm even starting to get the feeling back in my balls...
