Yeah, the hair up crowd (to go with my new quote,"Hair up is collar up for the alternative crowd.") was at the cat once again. But thank god this was the last night. I steered clear of the fashion '82 forever brigade, and tore up the dance floor in the back. I ran into a whole group of kids I knew who had also just seen Snakes on a mutha !@#$n most amazing film of the century.......plane. Then I ran into my very good/very drunk friend Rusty who told me that like it or not we were 14th st hipsters and as such we could not acknowledge the mere existance of such a masterpiece or we would forfit all of our chips. I then ran into a friend of mine in the hip-to-the-point-of-pain echelon, and explained away my love of S.O.M.F.P. by telling her I had been really into D&D as a youth. You know and then...uh....I rode my bike home and stuff. Yeah! Biking!

Popsicle Pillage is the stuff of my dreams, RPC. Good scheming.

Who has a garden this summer? I want to instigate this garden plunder. I have very little eggplant and tomato right now, the corn is just about there.

Hi, I am moving to Bmore on/about the 30th. I will be working in DC till about sept 15th or ish. I won't be a stranger. If any of you ever come to Bmore, you will have a place to stay. If I hate it, I'll be back in 3 months or so.

we're meeting at Haines Point and having a picnic 2pm-9 or so, to make sure you get a parking spot near the picnic please come earlier if you're bringing a grill (peter? pretty please) or a cooler, sign up below for what youre bringing. (copy and paste the list as you add your name and what youre bringing). when the cars get kicked out, i'll setup some courses for fun races. suggested picnic essentials: sparks, burgers or portobello shrooms + buns, hotdogs or sausages + buns, corn on the cob, soda, water/gatorade, ice tea, chips, fruits and veggies, potato salad, cookies.

This response might be too late...Popsicle Pillage is from Northern VA to MD, just over the dc line in Bethesda. I imagine it within 9 miles and 1.5 hours. my guess anyway. I know it'll be FUN!!

i think i just slept for twelve hours. and chris still slept through my alarm. man, ice cream is more than just delicious, it apparently shuts your body down as well..

Popsicle Pillage was great - thanks rpc! I still wish I could have seen Ryan do the technicolor yawn when the action got to crazy in Snakes on a Plane Deux, but I'll settle for having seen him and Chris sleeping on the street in Georgetown.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for tolerating all the issues with my first pillage! I'm not an event planner - nor do I claim to be :) I'm proud of my 1 out of 3! BTW, after all that ice cream, real food never tasted so sweet.

after all that ice cream, i didnt eat again until 1:00 today.

i have the rest of the day off, so it will probably be a slow day on bike forums. sorry guys.

The DC Pirates are pillaging RFK stadium for the August Baseball Pillage next Thursday as the Nationals take on the Phillies.
Could be an exciting game. and a fun drinky alternative to Mass the following day. $Seven Dolla Holla$

meet at Sherwood 6:00/6:15, we'll stock up on beers/sparks and slowly make our way down Mass Ave to E Capitol St. picking up late-working pirates on the way,

rpc... i like what I've heard of their music, and I'd probalby be up to ride to their show... it's interesting music, kinda folk (ish) but very interesting... they opened for the Indigo Girls, if that gives you any idea? anyway... I'd be up for that.
