i didn't read too many positive reviews on the mtbr board, but i was wondering if anyone has any experience here with those brakes? they seem rather cheap and while i know that "you get what u pay for" i also dont think that the type of riding i do (trails, xc, non-competitive, no drops) doesnt require better brakes? am i incorrect in my thinking? thanks in advance

I had a pair that on one of my BMX bikes. Not great brakes. I'd stick with either Shimano Deore or Avid single digits for inexpensive brakes. There is usually always a deal on last years items.

Check out www.pricepoint.com and www.jensonusa.com for starters, there are a lot more mail-order co's out there!
