I've been to the Trek website, but I am wondering if anyone knows what (or about what) the MSRP will be on the '06 Trek 6700. My LBS has an '05 w/ discs for sub $900 (I think...maybe it's $979...anyhoo), and I'm debating whether or not to wait for the '06 or get the older model.

that uk site says 900 pounds. if the price is convertible thats a sh*t load of dollars..
but i am thinking it is not as simple as that. maybe they have different pricing strategies in different countries.

if you think there is considerable difference maybe you should wait. you get better hubs, better brakes, better shifters, and if that fork is better then a better fork too. i would wait..

Funny, Im actually waiting on the 06 6700 too. I was going to have the lbs order a 05 but 06 is coming soon so Im going to wait. I would imagine with tax it would be around 1000 dollars, just like the 05.

hey tell me, how much does the trek 6500 non disc cost in america? the 06 version. just wondering what the rates here where i stay are like. i got mine for an equivalent of 550 us dollars i think. or maybe 530 or something like that. is that good?

Hmm I think Its more than that in america for the non disc.. I think its 650 not sure though.

I have a call into a freiend of a friend who owns a shop...I'm going to ask if he has the MSRP on the '06 6700, and see if he knows when they are going to be available. I'll let ya know if I get any info...
