Alright, i'm going to comprise a couple questions into one post.

Has anyone ridden at Challenge Park Extreme in Joliet, Illinois, I'd like to get a little feedback before i venture 4 hours, they have a Northshore trail which i'd rreally like to try. You lucky fools that live in B.C.

What do you all think about the new Crank Brothers platforms?

know nothing about the trails.

I do, however, think that the CB plats are VERY nice but I also think they are WAY over priced seeing that they are going to get the caca kicked out of them.

I am ordering the CB plats for my P.1 as soon as my boss gets back from Interbike. I told him to buy me a pair if they had any specials or cool show editions. Gotta be better than the Wellgos :D

I've seen a little video of that place and it looks easy, but fun. If I were you I'd plan on going there, but have another place to ride as a back-up. 4 hours isn't too far away (if you're not a family man, married, etc.) and if it does suck for you then atleast you can chalk it up to experience. Then you will probably be able to redeem your fun on another ride nearby so it's not a total loss.
