Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - T-town Bike Swap, what should I expect?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

5 days and counting...
I knew of some people who won't buy anything bike-related for 6 months just so they can (efficiently) blow their saved cash for this day (more really just 2 hours). And I'll even admit to having tagged along last year with said people. But I can't really recall what exactly was being sold. It might have had something to do with the total lack of sleep the night before... But I do recall being completely overwhelmed by the scale of product available and the prices with which they were being discounted (or so I was told). Nonetheless, this year I'm going to prepare a bit more (monetarily, caffeine, and what not), and thus I ask BF what sort of fixed-gear equipment one should expect to be sold at T-town this Saturday. Depending on your various replies, I am going to go and measure and double-check all relevant measurements (even bike frame size...so off to my lbs i go...)
Lastly, I'm looking to get a hardtail mtb, but maybe I'll just post in the mtb forum.
Thanks!

Sorry, I just thought of a better prompt to my request:
What are some the things you guys and gals will be looking to pickup? Besides other guys and gals... wasn't there talk of a post-swap meetup?
Good to pick up small stuff -- chainrings, stems, saddles, tires, tubes. I bought a couple of beater wheels at the last swap on the cheap as well. I haven't had much luck finding great deals on frames, but that may just be me. I'm sad I didn't pick up the Ritchey P-23 single speed at the spring swap though... at $400, it was a good deal.
how many times a year does this happen?

if there is, I'm down. I have some stuff I want to sell but don't want to go to the trouble of getting space at the meet so I was thinking of selling it out of the trunk of my car.

I've always found that a good rule of thumb for t-town is to not go there looking for anything too specific. And go early and stay late if you want to get good deals.

my wishlist...
nitto (or similar) track stem
b123 (or similar) bars
seatpost
tires
brooks saddle
clips n' straps
clothing items - jerseys, socks, etc
if i found a cool old tandem frame for cheap cheap cheap, i might pick that up, same goes for a decent used road group.

If all goes well, my friend will be getting a vendor table for us so we can get in an hour early. A new frame shall be mine!

That's the move, I scored a frame a few years ago when I had a table. Otherwise, try to get there by nine if not earlier, there's always a big line by the time the doors open. Coming from NYC you should try to be on the road by at least 7am as it's about two hours(give or take).
I'm coming from near Cincinnati, OH although I will have been in PGH the day prior. 10 hour drive total.

i found that general bike accessories (gloves, shoes, clothing) were in abundance, as well as decent cheap used parts. i came back with gloves, tubes, a no-name stem, and some tools. and i was happy.
i didn't see a ton of sexy & expensive track stuff, but maybe you will. the japanese kids' keirin bikestuffs went rather quickly, fwiw.

i can't make it - friend had a baby- but...
anyone who can score a pair of Suntour Superbe Pro track cranks, 165, for under $150 for me will get (1) my eternal gratitude, (2) a case of beer of their choice, and (3) reimbursed for the cost, plus the shipping, plus...
really, really.

i've never been, but i mapped it out and it google says it's a 2 hour drive from brooklyn. it'll probably take slightly less, as we'll be on the road at 7am on a saturday, but you never know about nyc traffic.
it starts at 9. as stated, the good stuff goes fast, so get there early.
