What kind of imformation? materials, sizing? differnt frames for types of riding?

Which has an extensive section on the history, design, and functionality of various bike parts.

It might interest you to know that the now-standard "diamond" frame dates to the turn of the century, and models from the very early 1900s look essentially identical to frames made today.

Ahoy there, matey. There are oceans upon oceans of information and mis-information about frames floating about the Internet. Having absorbed much of it, I feel completely confident in my ability to totally confuse you, myself and anyone else willing to listen. However, to put it simply: In the end, a frame that you can afford and that is comfortable is more important than any other factor.
