Does the Talon SL worth the effort if i will use them with road type bar (and not tri bar)?
I am using now the R1000

Just a note... The internal cabling for the front derailleur has a tendency to stick for the 48cm frame, all other sizes are fine. This is a non-issue when you use barend shifters due to the free float (i.e. non indexed shifting); also much less of an issue with Campy due to the trim. Note that this only applies to the 48cm frame and with Shimano STI's..

The Talon is a great bike! I do have a 52cm built up as a tri bike and I'm VERY happy with it. The reason why I know of the 48cm is because we bought one for my wife, built it as a road bike, as obviously experienced a bit of problems....

The R1000 is a great bike. I doubt that the Kestrel will be much better.
