Anyone had experience with this? I need/want to remove the foil head badge on the Urago prior to stripping the mix of housepaint and original paint that is on the frame and then rattlecanning it. I'd like to keep the foil headbadge; the other decals shouldn't be too much trouble to reproduce, so I'm less worried about them. Acetone, maybe? I'd think it's glued on, so loosening the glue is likely the key. Thanks, all.

You need tweezers and acetone with a syringe type applicator, (hobby or plastic supply Weld-On applicator bottle) foil up, set frame very steady and tube horizontal, the trick is to feed the acetone uphill to kepp it off the face, expect it to take an hour, multiple sessions, you will get tired. Oh yes, to avoid the Nail Salon headache work in fresh air. Photo doc it first!

Just another thought on it... You might try heating it up with a heat gun or high watt blow dryer to soften the adhesive, then peeling off while warm. This works like a charm to remove stick-on labels from cardboard boxes.

I hope you take some pics of it before you start, just in case.
