Where do I find a 2005 Marzocchi service manual? I bought a set of 2005 MX Comp Coils and purchased the heavy springs to install BUT the manual that came with them sucks, no information about changing springs whatsoever. I have looked all over the internet but cannot find a marzocchi manual that is any newer than 2001. Any ideas? I am pretty mechanically inclined(I can build car engines) so I don't think there is anything about this task I can't handle. Thanks for any help.

I did the same except for lighter springs. All you do is release any air pressure, take the top caps off. Take the little metal tubes and plastic spacers out, (remember the order they came out!). Then gently compress the fork untill the springs come up then swap them over. They are covered in oil so try not loose too much. Then put it all back together.

Thanks for the tip, I didn't think it was anything too complicated. It would be really nice if that information was included with the owners manual though. I hate paying someone else to do something that I am perfectly capable of doing just because they won't give out information.

Where'd you get the lighter springs? I took mine out -- they were way too stiff for me but I'd be interested in trying something lighter.

You can buy spring kits online, around $35. I got my heavy springs from aebike.com but there are others that carry them. I just did a google search for marzocchi springs. Just make sure you get the right springs, they break down to 2002 and down, and 2003 and up. Apparently they changed the spring specs in 2003.
