hey guys, i just signed up a few days ago. i ride a fisher mt tam 29er hard tail. specs are in my sig. I was just wondering how many of you ride 29ers, and what setup you guys use. i am getting clipless today, and after that i wanna replace the super-heavy marz dual coil fork. i cant decide what to get, though. i thought maybe seeing your setups would help me decide.

thanks
harris

This comes up every month or so. We have a few. Buzzbomb used to post here a lot and is a 29er. I think there are a few others. :)

Most 29er guys I have talked to prefer a rigid fork.

Those that ride with a squishy prefer either a White Brothers fork, or the Rock Shox Reba.

As for me, in the process of getting a 29er wheelset for my Surly 1x1.

I'm on a lovely Van Dessel Buzz Bomb equipped with a Rohloff Speedhub and a White Brothers CX-1 80mm fork. I continue to ride a 26" full suspension bike, but look forward to the day in the not too distant future when I own a nice 29" dw-link full suspension bike.

I'm really looking forward to WB's new magnetically-controlled damper they'll be debuting on their 2006 BW-series forks.
