Anyone ever read two books at the same "time" (meaning reading Book 2 while still consistantly reading Book 1)

Only three ways? I have 5 or more going at any one time Two by my chair in the living room, at least one for the john, one on my nightstand and one in my auction tote box. Plus... my music lesson books.

i read bits and parts of books, but often enough hardly ever finish one. i don't see why people torture themselves to read every single word in a book. i have of course, but now i just like to pick up ideas and move on. if it's interesting i'll spend some time with it, but if not, i gotta move to the next thing. i probably have about a dozen books in various stages right now.

I've done it before, but I don't think my feeble brain can handle it anymore. If I'm not riding, on the internet, working, eating, watching TV, or sleeping I'm usually staring into space, drooling....

I am currently reading 3 technical books, 4 magazines (7 if you count the back issues of Black Belt I'm trying to catch up on), and I read about 10+ comic books/ manga a week...but technically I don't read half a comic book then read something else, I read the comic books into betwen the other stuff.

Technical books are too dry to just sit and read, so I break it up a bit :)

I more of an old *****, more into group sex... too many books at once. For instance, right now, I'm on Best American Essay of 2005, On Beauty by Zadie Smith, Othello, the poems of Shelly, and The World is Flat. Bring on the lube!
