I wish the new ReBike owners the best with their carbon fibre high end bike purchased at Interbike.
I can not afford such things so will remain with rusty retro $75 ReBike fited with big yellow flag.

Recumbents are banned from most fast group rides in the USA so there is no point to a carbon high zoot bent like the carbon ReBikes where I live. I pass every paceline I see on my ReBike so there is no reason to join a lsow group ride. My used ReBike works just fine running cheap tires.

It seems that down south is a better bet for a high end carbon ReBikes. I am sure there will be lots of sales down there with all the people in trailer parks with money to burn.

Who needs a carbon ReBike when good ol steel is just as fast.

You're good, real good. But I think your talents are being wasted here in BF. You could find much better opportunities here>>>>>>http://yahootrolls.com/ ;)

I am working on a new comfort bike it uses a body of an old chevy vega, I pulled the engine out and added pedals. You should see the looks on the pacelines as I go roarinig by. Can't beat the seat for comfort either. I didn't save a whole lot of weight by taking the engine out seeing as it had an aluminum block and all. But I did manage to dust some old guy on what looked like a rebike. Was that you Mooky?

Just got back from my cross state ride on my ReBike. I passed 9 pacelines. No one can keep up when I put the chain in the big ring on my steel ReBike.

Who the hell need and expensive $100 high end zoot carbon Rebike when rusty steel is the ticket.

I will wave HI when I pass you all on the mountain roads climbing with my ReBike and big yellow flag.

Man, if you think that is fast you should try one of those schwinn Stingrays from the 70's. Fastest bike made! Bar none. Plus it had that great seat that let you adjust your fore aft position on the fly without having to loosen any bolts. Lets not forget the ergonomic speedshifter too! That was an awesome bike until it got stolen. I think it is in the Alamo now.

By the way, all kidding aside, do you even have a picture of a rebike?

Sweet! I bet that lightning doesn't get a lot of use anymore now that you got the rebike. Man that looks fast!

Looks a little like the Huffy in that other thread. Man, that would be some race. Huffy vs. Rebike.

If you're talkin' fast, check out the new ALUMINUM Chopper from Raleigh!
If looks could kill...

Yeah, but with the engine removed you no longer need to keep filling up the oil and checking the gas.

I passed 3 big bicycle rider groups down the mountain pass this morning. One group had 100 or more riders and they did not go as fast as my ReBike because they were afraid of the long drop off on the edge of the mountain road.

I like to go 75 miles per hour down switch backs on my rusty steel ReBike.

come on how your not telling the whole truth. you only passed them with the rebike because it was duct taped to the top of your 4 tone gremin. the one that the fire department follows aroudn because it smokes so bad they think it is a hazzard. Plus you did not admit after you passed them they all passed out from the smoke.
come on now tell the full truth.

I think Mooky has added a side car to his rebike to insure stability in the corners.
