Old subject still an issue.
I don't know how many times I respond to "what do you guys think of this bike" type threads.
Any way we could make a sub-group under each category for "buying new bike" type questions?
OR, anyway to create a link to MTBR so people can read the rating for their appropriate bikes.

YES! There are so many of those threads... I think doing something with them would be a very good idea.
Good plan a2psyklnut, finally a forum for ALL those new bike questions!
Sounds good to me too. This would help alot of people.
Do we need a actual forum, or just a new bike advice thread i could stick to refer thoes questions too?
Maybe a sub forums of General Discussions.
I think a separate forum might be most noticeable for newbies (me a year ago ;) )but a sub folder in general would be okay.

This is a GREAT idea.
As a new rider, who is looking for "New Bike" advice, it would be great to see a forum dedicated to this purpose.

What about posting our own style reviews. Most questions are essentially about the same 20 or so bikes. We have all posted lots of opinions. They could be broken up into the different bikes and put into a review sections. Maybe even by style of bike.
