HI
I have just descovered CC bikes. I live in New Zealand where CC isn't heard off. Does anyone out there ride a slingshot? A different concept. I wonder how they go?

I rode with a couple of guys who had them. The plastic hinge looked a little sketchy to me but they don't seem to fail. And you can buy a half dozen of them to change periodically.

People who ride them off road love them though I think that since full suspension they aren't nearly as popular.

But here's a question - why would you want to have an odd-ball bike in New Zealand where it takes 6 months to get a replacement part?

Don't think I'll ever own one, but am interested in anything different. I was wondering how it would work as a touring bike. Smooth ride and you can get folders, so they're easy to transport. When we get to the States some time I must check them out.
