I raced just about everything... Cross Country, Downhill, this year I started Road... now I have a new bike in the stable.. A KHS CX100. I was able to get this bike in a trade for web services, so I am super stoked to get out there and race. We have a great race series here in Ottawa, every Sunday until it gets too cold basically...

So I just took the bike out of the box and put it together... Any set up tips or tweaks I should know of?

Also, what tires should I go for. I only had some 23c road tires, so I just put them on, but what is a good tire for CX. Here in Ottawa, it's grassy to snowy.. with all sorts of ground softnesses (Is that even a word?)

If you could help, that would be cool.

I am certain that you got pics of me in 2003 (with the Canadian flag & snow all over the grounds) & in 2004 on the very windy day. Both at Terry Fox! I'm happy that you decided to give cyclocross a crack! You're going to love it!
