I finally have some pictures of my local trail, taken with a cell phone but still viewable never the less.

Looks like fun. Those trees are a pain. I've experienced them along my local trails. I just get some friends to come along and chop em up :D

You should bring a shovel and make a nice little kicker, dont destroy your environment, work with it.

Exactly. Fallen trees (that fell as a result of a storm or something) add a challenge to trails you've ridden a thousand times before

Actually, there was a huge storm yesterday and i'm thinking that some trees would have fallen down on the track. We might have a look.

That's actually a pretty good idea

I'm off work tomorrow so I think I'll head out and do that.

looks like some nice sweet smooth singletrack tweek.

I would also add that those logs look like they would be ad a bit of fun to your trails.

A kicker or just learning how to flick them at high speeds would be a good time.

i bring a small fold up garden saw, some nails, and a hammer. just make a little bridge over it with the branches that are farther up the tree. its lots of fun!
