Well, I just put some cheapo tektro talon brakes on the front of my bmx and I had to swap out the lever. I was just wondering, since a lever is a simple machine, if you have a longer lever, will it give you more stopping power? I was just wondering. Thanks

Some people use long levers for 2 finger braking. I do not.
It will make it easier to apply more pressure, but won't necessarily improve your brakes. If you can't get enough leverage with a short lever, a longer lever will help.
