Cyclocross - Brake setup

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Does anyone setup the brake lever "reversed"? Where the left brake controls the rear and the right controls the front?

lots of cx racers set up this way as it allows you to brake during the dismount. you can approach the dismounts a lot faster and get your right hand on the top tube while still slowing.

yep, i do. for racing...dismounts are easier this way because you can have your left hand on the lever and brake if you need to without popping the bike up.

I do too. I like except for how confusing it gets when I start riding my road bike again.
It can get confusing if you have ever ridden a motorcycle...........
