I blew both tubes today due to goatheads(puncturevine). What is the best way to stop punctures? Tires, tubes, slime? I need help, I use my bike all the time, and can't constantly be leaking air. Current tire size is 26 X2.125. Thanks.

I'd use a a flat resistant insert, it'll help, but it isn't fool proof. Slime too will help out a bit. You could also find a flat resistant tire. I'd also suggest that you be sure to carry around at least two extra tubes, a good patch kit and some CO2.

come thicker tubes could possibly help you although they are really to prevent pinches.

I have a "thorn-resistant" tube in my front tire. It has worked very well so far. I have a slime tire in the rear but I don't think I will be buying those anymore because sometimes when there is pressure in the tube and you attach a pump on, slime will shoot out. This could ruin your pump so be aware.
