Let me start by saying i am not in any bike club nor do i represent any.
Ive been thinking about a tour of the summit county metro parks and stark parks metro parks recently. This would most likly be a 3+ day camping tour as theres alot of parks in summit aloan not counting 46 miles of towpath trail (only part would be included that links parks) and 33 bike and hike that would be included. If i recal there are 7 to 9 summit parks and not sure how many in stark. The parks them self would include all roads and bike rideable trails. Parking lots likly added for some extra miles over all. With in the parks there is alot to see and do. All major crowded rods would be avoided when ever possible futher increasing the milage.
Basically only rules would be things like no single person gets dropped and left behind. What i was thinking was those riders intrested would do a sort of time trial to get max and avarage speeds. They would be pack ride leaders. In charge of keeping every one on route in their pack. This way if there was a large turn out the faster riders would not have to try and keep their speed down to match the slowest riders in the tour.
If your at all intrested in this tour of the summit and stark county ohio metro parks you may email me at tour.de.metro.parks@spellbound-guild.com subject tour or reply here
