Commuting - Earth to Cambronne! Come in, Cambronne!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Has anyone heard from Cambronne? He is my bicycle commuting spiritual leader. I feel a need to confess to someone for all the money I have spent upgrading my bike. :)
Cambronne, we need your wisdom and guidance!
Pete Clark, I suspect you somehow had a part in his disappearance. I know you are envious of his leadership and the esteem we have for him. After all, you both live in Atlanta. Coincidence? I think not!
Speaking of which:
The great philosopher Descartes is in a bar at last call. The bartender asks if he'd like another drink. Descarte responds "I think not." and immediately disappears.
Speaking of another which: There is NO last call here in New Orleans so patrons can gleefully spend all night drinking before hitting the road at 0500 in search of me on my way to work.

Raymond

Yes, Cambronne...Ah, well! There is something I should probably tell you. You see, he uh, well he sort of...had to
go back to Paris...that's it! He went back to Paris and...um...well, you know Cambronne! He's probably enjoying
himself, having the time of his...life. I'm sure of it...he...AAAaHHHHaaaa! I can't stand it! I can't take it anymore!

I was listening to some music...Ted Nugent...AAAAaaaaHHHhhhhaaaa! I'm a Bad American! I killed him because I
couldn't stand to hear that "I know everything" and "this is that, so on and so forth"! But I don't care, because
I don't have to tolerate anyone I don't like! He...he was trying to get away on his bike! So I killed him!

You know how I did it? I hit him with my Big Boat! HAHAHAHAHA!!! So long, sucker! See you in H**!!

(we have some goofy people, don't we?)

:)

So, Pete Clark, you show your true colors, at last. You have felt the wrath of the Rainman for your imprudent comments about alleged "rants", and it has been your undoing. Let this be a lesson to the rest of you!

mmmwhahaha
hahaha
hahaha
HAHAHAHA cough, cough, cough
Damned maniacal laugh. It does that to me every time.
But that will not save you, Pete Clark! You shall continue to feel the razor-sharp edge of my half wit as I taunt you the length and breadth of these pages!

Raymond

Rainman,

"To the last, I will grapple with thee, from hell's heart, I stab at thee. For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee!" HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

P.S.--Can I borrow a cup of sugar? I'm making some cookies...the kids got sick on Mike's cookie dough diet that I put the whole family on...

:):)

I kind of miss Ol' Cambronne too. For a minute there Pete, I thought you were starting the word game up with Cambronne as the lead suspect. (I bet it's got something to do with his "latest ladyfriend!")

Yeah, I haven't seen that Cambronne either...darn, wanted to ask him about the pedals!

Hey, Pete...that quote looked familar...Melville's Captain Ahab...and Khan's same ranting/quoting (Star Trek 2 - Wrath of Khan).

Cambronne is French.

Maybe he is on strike.

Seriously, I think I do remember some mention of an upcoming trip home. Let's hope he is having a great time.
Pete Clark, I have a great little recipe for sugar cookies with little multi colored sprinkles. Of course, you can also use specific color sprinkles to match the season. Right now, for instance, some pink, light blue, and yellow would be an excellent choice for the upcoming Easter festivities.
