Hey, I'm looking to get a new pair shoes, My SIXSIXONE Duallies are shot. I would get another pair of them but the new ones look pretty weak.
What are you guys wearing out there that have good grip?

I was just about to ask this question. My SixSixOne Hammers are shot too. They have been great shoes though. They have been the only shoe that has lasted me a whole biking season. But know they are finally starting to wear out. Ive been looking at the new 2006 SixSixOne Launch Taki or maybe the Reflex. I might go with the Launch Taki, just because i dont like the material as much on the Reflex. Also look at Duffs shoes and Lake.

I have a pair of older Airwalk BMX shoes that work well. I like the look of the new Lake Ritchey Schley shoes, but don't know how they work in reality.

Had a pair of lakes a year, stick pretty well, aren't wearing out too fast, no complaints.

I had the Schleys. They're pretty good for a skate type shoe, quite durable, with hard plastic reinforcements in appropriate places.

But (I repeat ad nauseam) nothing sticks to pedals like the five.ten impacts. I have never heard of anyone who's ridden in them say any different.

Any of the Etnies signature BMX shoes, like the Taj's, Joe Rich or whatever.

BMX and Skate shoes are where its at, there usually inexpensive and made to take a serious beating, and the the bottoms are always flat and very grippy. I ride in these old etnies Sal's that Ive had since my bmx days.

www.albes.com is having a sale on their etnies signatures. All about 60 bucks.

I actually just found 2 sites that had the 661 '04 duallies at pretty cheap prices.
I loved these shoes, they gave great grip and nice protection as well.
