For a limited time, you can receive a free sample can of Fluid Film, the ultimate chain lube and rust/corrosion preventive simply by requesting one from me at dwilliams@eurekafluidfilm.com. If you haven't heard of Fluid Film, it is a lanolin based product that imbeds into the pores of metal, leaving a barrier of protection and lubrication that will not fly off or be displaced by water. Dirt will not build on top of itself, making it perfect for use in harsh environments. For more information on the product, check out our web site at http://www.eurekafluidfilm.com/appl...recreation.html.

We are willing to give away a large number of cans in a promotional effort to introduce this product to a new audience. We have been around for over 50 years, being one of the top players in the marine and agricultural indurstries. If you take the time to research this product, you will recognize its superior quality and ideal use for the biking enthusiast. Try it, and let us know what you think. We will ship anywhere in the Continental United States.

If you havent gotten any of this stuff yet get it. I got my sample today and used it not only on my bike but aroudn the house. This stuff is great. You can see it working i kid you not it litterly just gets rid of the gunk and lubes it up nicly. I used it on every moving part on my bike it worked very well. Ill ride on it a few days and see how it holds up and post back.
And oh yeh it dont smell half bad ither kind of a fruity smell.

Sounds great, although I doubt that it really "imbeds into the pores of metal." All it really has to do to be successful is act as a lubricant.

The UPS man just left my sample of this stuff, and as luck would have it, my mtb started making the "you should have lubed me a week ago" sound while I was out riding today. I'm going to lube it up and see how it behaves in the coming week, and I'll post back here and let you know how it goes!

(I have to admit I'm slightly excited that a "get free stuff from the internet" ad actually resulted in me getting free stuff. If this stuff is any good, maybe Eureka chemical company will get my money...)

I know this thread has been dormant a while, but I wanted to post my review of Fluid Film.

In short, it works great. It goes on easy and lasts a long time. Water resistant. Smells good (kind of coca cola-ish?). If there's a drawback, it's that a little goes a long way, and it can be tricky getting the excess off the chain.

One other drawback is that the Web site seems to be down again... but many thanks for the free sample, Dana50. If you tell me where I can buy some more, I surely will. That is, after I've finally used up the sample....

My sample can finally ran out yesterday - I'll be buying more. This stuff really does work well. I'd recommend it to anyone considering it.

I just got my can of Fluid Film the same day my bike got sprayed with water and mud on a club ride. What timing! Thanks Dano50. A couple of allen bolts have some rust on them after nearly two years of use. A thorough cleaning and lubing tomorrow. Will let BF know how it goes. Considering the basic ingredient is good on dry chapped skin I'll use the product on my squeeking leather seat too :D tho the seat may baaa instead of mooo after this.
