So he cooked him a high protein breakfast. I am searching for humor, and even with my strange sense of sarcasm, I can't quite figure it out. Maybe he's trying to fatten him up, so he rides slower? Not sure, but Lance can burn off some sausage and eggs in about 15mins. Hence, the lack of humor. Unless there is a hidden message, or an article to go with, that I just don't see.

Stoopid.

Those cartoons have never been funny.

The rest of Ride is excellent, however.

I think it's the fattening up to slow him down one. Pretty lame. I voted the $13 one, but now I'm leaning more toward total lameitude as I contemplate how long it took to actually draw the thing. The artist would have done just as well having Jan getting Lance drunk on german beer, or hitting him with some bratwurst.

The funny part is the attempt at humor. You're not laughing at it, you are laughing AT it.

The artist is poking fun at the metrosexuality of his and our sport by showing them as a homosexual couple.

Notice they live together, Jan cooks for him, and the pink jersey and earrings?

It's not funny, but what's so hard to get about it?

Nothing metrosexual about bike racing from what I remember......it ain't Premier League football!!

Just tough, endless miles in crap weather with sh1t prizemoney.

I think this cartoon should merit Ooolong, the Pancake Bunny. So I guess that merits the third option. I guess.

Actully if you want to really pick it apart, you could say that Jan making a sausage and ONE egg could be a shot at lance only have one testicle....

Not as funny as when I watched a John Wayne movie over in Europe that was dubbed in Swedish (?) There is just something very wrong about hearing the term "Guten Morgen" coming from the lips of John Wayne!

Definitions of goose egg on the Web:

nothing: a quantity of no importance; "it looked like nothing I had ever seen before"; "reduced to nil all the work we had done"; "we racked up a pathetic goose egg"; "it was all for naught"; "I didn't hear zilch about it"
wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

0 (zero) or nought is both a number and a numeral. It was the last numeral to be created in most numerical systems, as it is not a counting number (which is to say, one begins counting at the number 1) and was in many eras and places represented only by a gap or mark very different from the other numerals.

But, but--there are two sausages on the plate. . .one egg and two sausages. I am sooooo confused--what does that mean?
