I caught this at the Vancouver Film Festival the other day and apparently it is scheduled for dvd release in November; Hell on Wheels is a German documentary that tells the story of the 2003 Tour de France through the eyes of the T-Mobile team, particularly Eric Zabel and Rolf Aldag. It's pretty comprehensive (maybe about 20 minutes too much so) as it takes you to places behind the scenes that we rarely, if ever, get to see in the tv coverage and it is amazingly refreshing that it is almost entirely Lance-free. The film features some beautiful camerawork and very nice editing.

Ditto, I'd like to see it. Do they have any good helmet cam shots during the races?

It's already available in Europe with the German title "Hollentour". It's really an amazing film. Some of the best cinematography I've seen.
