Does anybody have any idea of a good way to remove grip shifters to replace the handle bar? I really don't want to mess them up and I haven't got a clue of how to do it.
Isn't there a screw somewhere that loosens them?

I have the Sram grip shifters, and there's a small allen screw under neath. If your shifters are similar, they should also have this allen screw.

Do you mean the rubber grips? You'll have to cut them off or have the shop use the air blaster to remove them intact so that you can reuse them.

This might be your chance to switch to trigger shifters. ;)
