I'm considering getting a new fork, most likely off of ebay or pinkbike. I will most like get a z1, a drop off, or maybe even a All mountain fork. I'm wondering what would be a good amount of travel, so that it doesn't mess up the bikes geometry, and any other fork suggestions are welcome. So far, I'm looking between 110 and 150mm (the bike comes with 100, but the bruiser 1 has 120). Not too sure what to do. Once more, suggestions welcome.

I think that travel range sounds pretty accurate. Personally, I just upgraded from a black to a sherman flick with the adjustable travel an I'm liking it. I was trying to decide between the z1 fr3 or it, and decided to go with the sherman for the travel adjust. Also, I was a little confused as to how much travel the z1 had because marzzochi listed it with 130, but jenson had them on sale and said they were 150.

FYI: z1fr3 is 130 and it can be upgraded to 150. If I remember right you asked that here and got an answer.

150 should be good. But I would check the owner manual for the bruiser first. There might be a height limit on the fork you can run.
