They are both FS bikes. If I just want a good all-around FS (no extreme stuff) MTB, what is the better suited for me? :o

If you are not jumping or hucking I would go with the Stumpy
More versatile in my opinion.
But, I have been thinking my next frame may be the sworks enduro for some light 'freeriding'. :D
Or maybe a horst sixpack before they are gone, but I digress.................

the fsr stumpy is going to climb better, be a little faster, a little more resposive.
they say the stumpy is a 'fast all mountain bike' but i would not put it through alot of am use. like unsuspended said, if you arent doing drops and hucks alot the fsr stumpy should be fine.

The simplest thing I can tell you is that the Stumpy is an XC bike whereas the Enduro is an All-mountain bike. They're designed for different things. The Stumpy is more of a race bike while the Enduro is more of a "beat the crap out of me bike" Get a magazine will ya!

Buy the Enduro and have fun!! I know some folks that ride em' and they like them...............BUY SOMETHING!!!!! :D

I will, but I find MTB a leeuva lot more compliacted than roadies with all of the differnet shocks, adjustable geometries, arrggghh!
A roadie can be tested in the parking lot but how can you test a MTB? A LBS won't let you take it to the trails and dirty it all up? :mad:

You will notice a difference even if you are riding on the cement. I have an Enduro and its great, however if you love to climp and that is going to be the majority of your rides, then go with the stump jumper. If you favor more of the downhill aspect and you see the climbs as a means just to get to the top, then go with the Enduro.

I LOVE my stumpy, but there are times I wish I had one more gear on the top. Either bike would be great!
Has anyone ridden the stumpy with the carbon fiber frame? I saw one the other day, I wonder how it compares to my regular flamed stumpy.
