Road Cycling - Look Frames

I am currently considering to purchase the Look KG386 frame.

What is the general experience with this frame? Any problems? I am a fairly heavy rider (200 lbs., 90 kg), is the frame suitable for me?

How does Look handle warranty? What is the experience with Look as a brand?

Does it have the same geometry as the KG281 and KG261? The data from the Look USA and the Look European/corporate sites is different/contradictory.

Please let me know if you have any experience.

I had a Look KG231 Frameset, it gave a lovely ride, until I notcied two large cracks radiating from the Front Mech Hanger. I'd had the frame about 6 months, and although I am quite heavy (16 stone), I actually did less than 500miles on it. I'm expecting my replacement Alu frame through anyday now.

hi i 'm really look lover a hearvy rider too 90kg .my first is kg131 (50 cm bought in my1997 my brother who is 10 years old still riding it now) then i got a kg171(my dad bought it for himself in 1997 but he bought a conolgo master in2000 then he gave my the kg171) ..........now i ride a kg 243 steel frame(1999) from look i replace a hsc2 carbon fork into my steel kg243.
look provied a 3 years warranty start from the day of purchase
i like the look's bike
i have tried the kg231 kg281 too
but i think the kg131 and kg231 are not really good
for sprint the frame is not hard enough
the kg 171 and kg281 is really goodfor all kind of race ......really comfortable and tough.....
if u like look fame why don't u good for a 261 or 281........i think kg 386 is almost as expensive as the kg261 or even kg281...............
although i have tried the kg386, i have tried3 of their
staff 2 carbon and 1 steel frame
i like them
look bike is a good choice if u don't want to spend alot to good for a conolgo c40
