You may be interested to know that global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters are a direct effect of the shrinking numbers of Pirates since the 1800s. For your interest, I have included a graph of the approximate number of pirates versus the average global temperature over the last 200 years. As you can see, there is a statistically significant inverse relationship between pirates and global temperature.

Hey, I agree with you brother. I'm just saying for those not touched by his holiness' noodly appendages it would be better if the chart looked scientific. Trust me on this, I am well versed in creating scientific charts.

And last night on the news the were talking about a UN ship that was hit by pirates. Something about it was taken a few months ago, and how the UN finally got it back.

It's all lies. Pirates are the FSM's emissaries on Earth, and they were just spreading the Good Word. Release came after His Holiness commanded that the crew were ready to go forth in their holy pirate regalia. Of course, the misguided scientific community called this Stockholm Syndrome.
