I'm looking for a used Bianchi road bike. What models would you suggest? I have an old Bianchi Axis. Would I be better off just upgrading that? I know, I know; dumb newbie question.;)

What I ment to ask was, what would be a good model to look for.
If I decide to move farward with upgrading my 88 Bianchi Axis. It currently has 700 x 35c IRC all ter. tires that need replaceing. I would like to replace with slicks or road tires. I'm a heavy guy so I need a little extra support. Any suggestions on size/brand/type of tire?

Models mean relatively nothing.You have to decide on frame material and components and price range,then start looking.

Where can I find a list of older model bikes, specs, components, ect.? Perhaps that would help me narrow the field.

Ebay is a great place to buy a used bike. Make certain you know both the frame height and top tube lenghths in order to get a proper fit. I just bought a great old Bianchi and am in the process of "fixing it up."
