the top one seems better built than the bottom one: 14mm axles, 48h wheels, sealed BB, etc. do you want the longer 20.75 top tube or the 20.5 top tube? for me, i would go with the top one since it would be able to handle more. how tall are you and what size is your current bike? i dont know if it affects anyone else as much, but i ride a 20" top tube and when i get on a bike with a 20.5 or 21 i cant do anything.

I would go with the stolen unless the diamondback is lighter

Buy the Stolen. never buy a frame that says "hi-ten" or "Hi Tensile" steel. You want as much crmo as possible.

whats hi tensile steel mean; by the way im a bit dumb when its comes to words like that
Hi-ten is more like water pipe, Cro-mo is what race cars are made of. You get more strength for less weight.

definetly go with that bike, the frame isnt full cromo but for that price its good, i think it can hold up to what you will be doing
marcus987

so the mongoose is better value than the stolen.
Jerry Garcia

I say stay with the stolen.
FuzzyRyder
10-10-05, 08:58 PM
well you could listen to him, or you could listen to me and get the mongoose, haha, the stolen is a great bike but if you are on a budget then i would go with the mongoose, its almost as good and it will leave you with a bit of extra spending money that you might want for other things
You could get a job at MacDonalds and after a couple weeks buy a better bike.

Get that bike, the other bike is junk.

Yes, the Mongoose is most definitely the better buy. Even though the cranks on it are still crap in comparison to, say, Profiles, they're infinitely better than forged cranks.

definetly get that bike theres no contest
