the top one seems better built than the bottom one: 14mm axles, 48h wheels, sealed BB, etc. do you want the longer 20.75 top tube or the 20.5 top tube? for me, i would go with the top one since it would be able to handle more. how tall are you and what size is your current bike? i dont know if it affects anyone else as much, but i ride a 20" top tube and when i get on a bike with a 20.5 or 21 i cant do anything.

I would go with the stolen unless the diamondback is lighter
10-07-05, 08:18 PM
Buy the Stolen. never buy a frame that says "hi-ten" or "Hi Tensile" steel. You want as much crmo as possible.
10-08-05, 01:46 PM
whats hi tensile steel mean; by the way im a bit dumb when its comes to words like that
Hi-ten is more like water pipe, Cro-mo is what race cars are made of. You get more strength for less weight.

what about this but its 144.99, is it better value than the stolen, its a mongoose sniper

my friend has that and he likes it a lot. i think you should get it.
10-10-05, 11:29 AM
definetly go with that bike, the frame isnt full cromo but for that price its good, i think it can hold up to what you will be doing
10-10-05, 01:40 PM
so the mongoose is better value than the stolen.
10-10-05, 05:10 PM
I say stay with the stolen.
10-10-05, 08:58 PM
well you could listen to him, or you could listen to me and get the mongoose, haha, the stolen is a great bike but if you are on a budget then i would go with the mongoose, its almost as good and it will leave you with a bit of extra spending money that you might want for other things
You could get a job at MacDonalds and after a couple weeks buy a better bike.
10-12-05, 10:20 AM
i bin lookin around for a while and i found anouther one, what do ya reckon. its £150
10-12-05, 11:47 AM
oh man! you gotta buy that bike! 3-pc crank, brakes and black rims, gyro.
10-17-05, 04:54 PM
Get that bike, the other bike is junk.
10-17-05, 06:12 PM
Yes, the Mongoose is most definitely the better buy. Even though the cranks on it are still crap in comparison to, say, Profiles, they're infinitely better than forged cranks.
10-17-05, 08:28 PM
definetly get that bike theres no contest
10-17-05, 09:23 PM
You are an idiot.
You are an idiot.
I guess it takes one to know one. Don't you ever have anything else to say?
10-17-05, 09:35 PM
Heeeeey, thats not nice. He really is an idiot. Haha, but yes I do have many things to say, there just hasent been anything thats come up that really worth posting something serious on.
10-20-05, 12:52 PM
is the haro f4 (2005) any good for £149.99. is it better then the mongoose.
10-22-05, 03:50 PM
i would go for the mongoose if i were you because it is the better bike although watch out for the cranks because mongoose cranks arent the best.
