Hey all... been lurking for the past few weeks and thought it was time to say hey. Recently relo here from Minneapolis and live in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg. Joined up with the St. Petersburg Cycling Club for weekend group rides www.stpetecycling.com and have started bike commuting during the week - 35 miles round trip. I ride a stock 02 Jamis Coda - back when there was only one model - and it's been a great bike. Slowly upgrading my accessories to make commuting easier.

Welcome odano!
I'm just down the road in Clearwater. There are quite a few TampaBay riders here it seems. :)

You must do some heavy traffic areas to commute 35 miles from downtown St.Pete. I can picture you traveling up 4th st. to Roosevelt Blvd then heading west to US 19, because I know you can't travel that far heading south! Good luck w/ the commute. I wish I could do the same. I live in Tampa near RayJay but work in Bradenton. That is what happens when you meet the woman of your dreams. You will relocate for her but not quit the good job!

Great choice for a commuter. I have a Jamis Nova.
