Are there any wireless computers that work for the stoker?
Just purchased a Co-Motion Co-Pilot Supremo. Didn't want to mess with wires since I'll be packing this bike a lot. Tried a CAT EYE 7 wireless with a 70cm transmission. Almost worked.

From Cateye's FAQ's:

Does group riding affect the performance of the CC-CD300DW?

The CD300DW has 16 different transmission codes to help protect against crosstalk. Due to the coded transmission, riding next to riders with other wireless devices should not result in crosstalk or interference.

I would think this should preclude crosstalk with another Cateye device as well. I use an uncoded CicloSport computer on the front of our tandem and Debbie has an 'own-code' Polar S720i on the back and we've never had any problems with crosstalk.

The Cateye CC-CD300DW is a great computer, I have one on my single. (I also have a tandem, so maybe this qualifies me for a reply on this forum :p ).

Be aware that some users experienced a problem with the sensor magnet knocking on the left hand chain. Cateye, in their user manual actually include a disclaimer for certain bikes and tandems.

To overcome the above mentioned problem, people have either reduced the size of the magnet by taking it off its casing and glued it on the inner surface of the crank arm and sometime also as a result shimmed the sensor receiver arm in order to get it closer to the reduced size magnet. (see T@H forum for more details).

Buying and getting it installed by an lbs is probably the safest bet, otherwise Lickton have the best price (~<$100).
