Hi there everybody on the forums.net forum, and especially to Ron in Atlanta, who just sent me a message to post something on this introductions portions of the forum....I'm new to posting here, but have been reading this forum since spring time of this year..So here is some info about myself and riding...First off I live in south eastern michigan north of Detroit, I'm 27 and have been riding now seriously for 10 years but I've always had a bike since I was a kid, because my sister and brother rode when they were my age also...So I mostly do road riding/touring, it's a passion with me but I do have a mtb for the off-season times and when it's required, but I don't ride that as much...I normally put in about 4 to 5 thousand miles a year the most I've ever riden in one year was when I was living in florida I got 5000 in one year, but it looks like I'm on track to pass that this year, so that's very exciting for me...One of the local clubs here is called the wolverine sports club, that's the club I'm a member of and used to race for up untill july of this year...I decided to stop racing and training for it because I love touring and have really gotten into tandem riding with my mom on our tandem...We go to rally's and tours and both of us have a good time at those.So you'll probably see most of my postings on the tandem forum, cause that's what I'm most into right now, but I also like the road riding and racing forums also.....Onefinal note on the tandem stuff, my mom and I really love these tandem rallies that we have found, we mostly go to the midwest and southern rallies, so I know that coming up in 2003 the midwest tandem rally will be in columbus ohio over labor day weekend, and the southern tandem rally is in tallahassee florida sometime in october or november...We're looking forward to both of them, but especially the southern one, as I lived in tallahassee for three years and am excited to get back there with my tandem now and take mother on the rides that I rode when I lived there..So if any of you guys live in either of those cities and are members of this forum, I'd love to hear from you..
