Since I'm pretty much harmless I got stuck with sharing a room with a pretty young thing. She is very healthy and could probably kick the crap out of me if I tried anything anyway.
During the night I woke up a couple of times and each time it was so silent over from her bed that I wondered if she hadn't passed away.
The thought passed my mind that I ought to take out my shaving mirror and put it under her nose to see if she was still breathing.
Then it occurred to me that since she was a woman, if she woke up she'd probably think I was trying to check out her nose hair. I don't have enough teeth for that sort of thing.
