Can any of you ID this frame from that picture? It's advertised as a PX10, but the lugs don't look quite right to me...

It looks like a PX10 to me.

Seconded. PX-10.

Agreed. If thats the PX-10 someone is advertising on CL here in NYC, its a pretty nice deal as well -- looks like all it needs is a set of wheels. (and judging from the way the bike is sitting, new brake cables too)

The plain black lugs make me think it's a PR-10. I'm no expert, but I used to sell them. It was easy to spot the PRs on the floor by their black lugs. Only the main tubes were 531 on the PR. It was a nice riding bike, but it was no PX-10. If there is no chrome on the rear stays, it's a PR. You can also tell by the tubing sticker. It's funny how both are obscured in the picture. Also, the PX would have a 531 sticker on the fork.

??? The rear stays look chrome in the picture I see. Maybe the size of your browser is preventing you from seeing the stays? Scroll to the right. :)

You are correct. :o

I think it's an earlier model than I used to sell.

It's a shame to see a PX-10 in that condition.

74 or so PX10.

My '74 has white lugs and Phillipe bars and stem.

My '73? Fuji has a nearly identical color scheme (chrome head tube lugs though) - same cable clip style, same shaped rear dropouts. Maybe it's a copy of a PX-10 - only with bar-cons. hmmm.

My PX-10 has barcons, at least for now. My bikes change constantly. I can't seem to leave them alone.

Well, them lugs put it at 72 at the earliest. Can't see the location of the 531 stickers or remains; 74 was a semi-edumacated geuss, which most of my Pug dating is ;). My 72 has blacke lugs, but it's blue (was available in white)

Well, I bit the bullet and picked it up. Some nasty rust on the chrome, but otherwise in reasonably decent condition - paint is in better condition than that on teh '68 I had previously, though these lugs are less pretty... The Reynolds sticker is near the top of the seat tube; takes a 26.2mm seatpost; no obvious brand label on the stem or bars. Does any of that help you experts with dating? ;)

Thanks for all your help!

72/73. Location of 531 decal and lugs narrow it down.
