Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I bought vision tech base bar and tektro 4.0 brake lever, and tried to put them together. What I found out is that it is hard to push the insternal wedge of the brake lever to the bar end.
Do I need to use some tool to do the installation? What's the normal procedure? Do I need to lubricate the wedge?
If someone can share some experience, I will really appreciate that.
Thanks in advance.
Rick
I doubt this is normal, but I put the wedge half way down on the thing that expands it and then squeezed it in with a pliers they'll expand eventually right? A little lube(very very little, you do want a solid grip after all) and she eventually went in with not too much effort.

Your trick really worked. :-)
Thank your very much.
Rick
Your welcome, what aero bars are you using. I am using the standard Vision extensions but that basebar looks good with a lot of things.

I purchased vision carbon clip-on aero bar. They look great, matching the vision base bar. :-)
