Hi there
Does anybody know how to put a rear disk brake system on a Trek 6500 2001? The frame has two nuts already, but on the horizontal part. I think it needs a special part to fix the brake...
Thanks.

Since I'm a computer-illiterate dink that can't post a link (hey, that rhymed), go to ebay and punch in "Trek disc brake adapter". There is a seller with exactly what you need. I haven't used one of these, so can't attest to how well they work. Good luck.

Yeesh - $40? my local shop sells 'em for under $20. Not sure what the situation is in Brazil with Trek Dealers, but I found this on the website - I'd start there:

International Sports do Brazil Ltda.
