Since I play football and I cycle, I thought this was a cool pic. Thanks to a little help from Joe I can now post it.

Sweeeeet. The cycling world needs more football fans.
Go Rams!!!
I just played some football yesterday. Nothing fancy, just backyard 2 hand touch. I thought my legs were sore afterwards but that was nothing compared to the condition I'm in now after cycling 8 miles into work.

I think it's interesting that Chris can leg press more, even though he's so much smaller.

Football ... bark bark bark... slam head with fellow lineman...
Ahh the good old days. I miss 'that' kind of pain :)

Well leg press taks almost pure leg strenght not raw power. If you did a comparisson of squatting I would be willing to wager a small bet that the lineman wins. Squatting is more representative of actual strength than just a leg press.
But still it is pretty cool...luckily I played football and powerlifted so my lower back is a power house. :)
Dirtbikedude, where is this image from? Is it an ad?
Funny!

I am not quite sure. I saw it on another site. It looked as though it was from a book but I am not sure what book.

Yeah Bengals!:roflmao:
Ridealot, how are the Bengals doing now ?
Many years ago ,when we could get American Football on TV over here in the UK, I used to follow the Bengals, the great god Murdoch bought the TV rights and I lost touch with how they are doing.
I should point out that when I used to watch them they had Boomer Esiason, Icky Woods (spellings ?) etc. playing for them.
In fact I think I've still got the Superbowl on tape. When Tim Krumrie snapped his leg and they ended up losing to the 49's
BTW, the picture was from the Saturn Racing Team magazine. I got a copy in the mail a week or two ago. Saturn probably got my name from Bicycling Rag and used my zipcode to figure out I was in the SF Bay area and might go to the SFGRANDPRIX. They were correct, as it turns out. :)

The Bengals have not had a winning record for the past 11 years. Most years they are 4 and 12, 3 and 13, etc. etc.
Yep those were the days when Boomer and Ickey were playing.
That Tim Krumrie leg snapping was pretty horrible. I remember the network replaying that over and over again. OUCH!
Ridealot, that's sad to hear, but win or lose never lose your faith:D .
Maybe this year they will go all the way.
