When someone cares so much about what celebrities are doing that they need to know every detail of there lives like this it seems they might have some sort of problem.

I am certifiably a gun lover. I have met and talked to many celebrities in the gun community. I once talked to Wayne Lappiere at a hunting and fishing expo. (Wayne is the Vice President of the NRA, and has been all over TV shows. He defeated Clinton in a nationally televised debate.) I certainly didn’t go nuts at the time like some sort of deranged Oprah fan, and neither did anybody else there. As a matter of fact, even when he was doing his speech, not too many people cared enough to stop and watch. I was once at a driving range with several fellow shooter friends of mine, and Darrel Hammond showed up in a Mercedes. Some other people thought this was just the coolest thing, but my friends and I sure didn't care. People in the gun community seem to often be unfazed by celebrities.

When someone watches these stupid shows out of a desire to know every detail of how Tom knocked up Katie, it makes me wonder if they have mental issues. What do you think?

Does this mean I should take down my "Liza Minelli Shrine?"

People like what they like. There are probably plenty of people who would say you are crazy for describing yourself as a "gun lover."

I used to watch ET for Mary Hart's legs when I was younger. Grew out of it, tho.... I couldn't care less now.

I love guns, but unlike ET viewers I don't care so much about them that I need to know the color and consistency of the feces of the guys who made them.

People like what they like.

This is the worst (and most common) excuse for doing things that either make no sense, or have no purpose.

There are reasons for everything and making lame excuses denies plausibility, responsibility, and intelligence in general.

For the record:

Yes, I think those obsessed with celebrities are psychotic.

I would probably watch ET if they didn't have so many comercial breaks,so does that make me a bad person?

That doesn't make you bad, it just makes me wonder why you care about every detail of celebrities lives.
