I've noticed that when I increase my rides to more than two per week, I tend to crash more, lose handling skills and the general ride quality goes down. If I stay at two rides, it does'nt matter which two, I ride like a ... well, a really good rider. I rarely crash and my speed is constant. I handle obstacles with ease, for the most part and really come home feeling as though I did something worth while, not to mention fun.
I am wondering what works for others. I assume my situation is due to my other physical intrests and my physical job. It sounds like over training but nothing else suffers, only the rides. I don't mean I come completely unglued, but there is a noticable difference. Any one else have a weird self limiter? This isn't really a question so much as a "I showed you mine, now show me yours" kind of post.
