What are the options for bullhorns with some drop? I like the shape of the syntace 'horns, but I'd prefer something with a more anatomic type shape on the corners, if that makes sense. What other options are out there for this type of bar?

Those Chuck's horns are long as hell. I have to get out the hacksaw some weekend and finally cut them down - otherwise no complaint, tons of hand positions.

hmm, maybe anatomic wan't the word I was looking for. I'm thinking more along the lines of the Nitto bullhorns, where the "corner" is flattened out, instead of making a 90 degree bend. That way there's a more comfortable (to me, anyway) position right there instead of just having the "tops" and "ends"...

toman, I know exactly what you mean and it seems like most really aren't designed with the "shoulders" in mind as a useful position. In that sense, I think flipped and chopped bars are more comfortable.

that's probably what I'll end up going with, if there's nothing else that's similar. I have some flip'n'chops now that I like, but with my setup I need some drop and something a little longer would be nice. Looks like the nittos are probably the closest to what I need; too bad they don't have internal cable routing. (yeah, I know, brakes are lame...) :D

Profile Designs with 50mm drop have rather sharp corners, but fit in the palm under the thumb, because the drop ends right there. I am riding them that way sometimes. http://www.pbase.com/wojtek_burkot/image/49244563

I bought these Ritchey Prologue Base Bars and chopped off about 3-4" off the ends (seriously). They work great though and are very comfortable.
