Mountain Biking - Grand Junction and Froooootah!!

That first snow we got sent me packing westward. 3 trails, two days, not a bad stab. Loveland had lifts running when we drove by, but it is prime time for GJ, Fruita, Moab and...other places. We must not be distracted by early season avalanche makers.

Somewhere in there we met up with a bevy of winsome women that were riding Koko all the way to Moab. "Come with us!" ...sigh.

I always crack up when I read comments like this.

Fruita and Moab both offer incredible riding. Moab offerss WAY, WAY more technical/epic length singletrack riding opprotunities if you know the right folks that are willing to share their routes. Routes that aren't in any of the guide books.

p.s. Nice shots Sloan. The only thing that's missing is tasty Colorado mud.

I had fond memories as I drove past the Bentonite Site on the way up to the top of the Ribbon.

I am sooo jealous, I will be up in Red Feathers (*West of Ft. Collins) camping this weekend, but I have to leave the MTB at home... I have a split rear wheel!!! New one might come in Friday, but I have to get on the road Friday!!! oh well...
