Mountain Biking - Oh, the descisions!

I've got a problem. I have a 1000 (or so) dollar budget to spend on a new bike, and I've gotten a few choices.

1. Norco Rival- $720
2. Norco Ryde- $1100
3. Brodie Brat- $850
4. Kona Scrap- $1100
5. Kona Shred- $900

So any of you with experience with any of these rides or just overall knowhow of all things, give me a hand. Thanks guys.

Test ride them to see which one you like the most.

I like the Scrap. But that's just what I think. Cuase I am more of a dirt Jumper. But the Shred is nice too. I think Konas are very tough bikes. So is the Brodie Brat. But I have never seen the Norcos, so I can't say anything for them.

Hey, woohoo, im getting the sasquatch. It comes with truvativ downhill riser bar,(which is effing thick, I may add) truvativ hussefelt stem,sun singletracks, kenda nevegals, marizocci drop off 130mm fork, Titec Berzerkr seat, HFX9 hydro 8inch disk brakes, Shimaon Deore 9 sp cassette, Wellgo alloy flat pedals with steel pins, Axiom Tattoo lock on grips, all sorts of awsome goodies. It feels amazing. The tires are huge, too. 2.5's, if I remember correctly.
